Counseling and Student Development
The Counseling Department assists students in identifying and clarifying personal, career, major and educational goals. The mission of Counseling and Student Support Services Department is to provide and foster a nurturing and supportive environment that empowers students to persist in developing and achieving their full and unique academic, career, personal, and education life goals.
Counseling services are readily available to assist all students and tailored to meet each individual’s needs. Comprehensive counseling support is available during a scheduled 60-minute counseling appointment. Additionally, same day first come first serve counseling sessions are available in 10-minute segments and no appointment is necessary.
Online counseling services are available as a flexible alternative for students to meeting with a counselor. Students have the opportunity to meet with a counselor Online, by phone, or through chat modalities.
