Students will learn construction techniques, pattern manipulation for swimwear design, and fitting of swimwear. Special emphasis is given to stretch fabrics, bra construction, elastic setting and elastic to fabric stretch ratios.

- Demonstrate appropriate selection of stretch fabric and proper fabric layout and cutting techniques.
- Demonstrate the ability to create swimwear products that meet industry standards by employing proper construction methods using specialized sewing machines.
