This course provides a comprehensive overview of network security including security goals, security systems, access controls, networks and security, integrity, cryptography fundamentals, authentication. This course also prepares students to take the CompTIA Security + Certification Exam.

This course is for anyone with basic computer skills. Learn how to protect yourself from hackers, phishers, and anyone else who is trying to "snoop" into your personal information.
This course offers an introduction into computer forensics, investigating computer crimes and data recovery. Topics covered in this course include a process for investigating cyber crime and procedures for collecting, analyzing, recovering and preserving forensic evidence.
This course will prepare students to perform network hacking and implement appropriate countermeasures. Students will also explore the ethical questions surrounding network and system penetration. This course covers topics such as using network penetration tools, techniques for identifying system vulnerabilities and exploiting those vulnerabilities to compromise systems and data.
Formerly COSS 280. This course prepares students to mentor and participate in various cybersecurity competitions including but not limited to CyberPatriot. Topics include cybersecurity basics, operating system installation and hardening, Windows and Linux administration, and networking fundamentals.
