Construction Inspection - Associate in Science

This program introduces the application of procedures and techniques related to the inspection of a construction project, including building code compliance, the code enforcement process, building code administration, and labor and safety practices. The program will include some hands-on fundamental courses, analysis of the requirements of the building code, construction safety and management, and construction inspection practices.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Evaluate project details to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
- Create an inspection report covering the scope and limitations of work.
- Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, or construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations.
